WELCOME
Welcome to Alabama’s first seaside Bed and Breakfast Inn. The Original Romar House opened in 1991, a dream of the owner, Mr. Jerry Gilbreath. Innkeeper Lilia Bard wants you to feel at home and for you to enjoy yourself so much that you return year after year! As with all destination locations we have a few rules and regulations to share with you, our extended family.
We hope you enjoy your Bed and Breakfast experience with us and that you tell others about our unique lodging adventure at the Original Romar House Bed and Breakfast Inn. Reservation and Cancellation Policy

Please note that we have a 30-day cancellation policy.
Reservation Policy:
The Original Romar House Bed & Breakfast Inn has five individually appointed rooms, one suite, and one guest cottage. Each of the rooms and cottage is named after a local festival or a name unique to the Romar House.

-- Minimum age to register or stay with us is 21.
-- Please no pets allowed.
-- Wireless Internet available
-- Advance deposit of one night's stay required to confirm reservations. Rates can vary based on what type of booking engine client may use.
-- A two-night minimum stay is required. Three night minimum for holiday weekends.
-- We accept cash, checks, VISA, MasterCard and American Express and Discover.
-- The remaining balance of your stay's charges are due at check-in.
-- Check-out is 11 a.m. Check-in is 3 p.m. (Please honor)
-- All rooms subject to state and local taxes.
No reservations held on declined credit cards.
Personal checks only accepted if received 14 days in advance of reservation.
Cancellation Policy:
30 days in advance of arrival date - Full refund less $30 reservation fee.
29 - 14 days in advance – Deposit is non-refundable. Will be charged full rental amount but may choose alternate non-cancelable dates.
13 days or less in advance – Deposit is non-refundable. Will be charged full rental amount unless we are able to re-book the room for the same time period.
Special Packages are prepaid and non-refundable. During these uncertain times we must add that related to the coronavirus if you are unable to come for your reserved time we will allow you to re-book your stay. No refunds will be given. Standard cancellation policy applies.
Note: No refunds given for early departure, weather conditions or power outages.
